The Part-Time Nurse Practitioner in Gastroenterology provides comprehensive patient care under physician supervision at a clinic in Lubbock, TX.
Evaluates, diagnoses, and manages gastrointestinal and liver conditions such as GERD, IBS, IBD, and liver disease. Performs assessments, reviews diagnostic tests, and develops individualized treatment plans. Prescribes medications and therapies within scope, educates patients on disease management, and collaborates with the healthcare team. Maintains accurate documentation and adheres to clinical and legal standards. Works two days per week on-site, with potential additional shifts, requiring relocation prior to start. Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Nursing, current Texas NP license, national certification, and at least one year of NP experience, preferably in gastroenterology or internal medicine.
