PT GI Nurse Practitioner

The Part-Time Nurse Practitioner in Gastroenterology provides comprehensive patient care under physician supervision at a clinic in Lubbock, TX.

Evaluates, diagnoses, and manages gastrointestinal and liver conditions such as GERD, IBS, IBD, and liver disease.

Performs assessments, reviews diagnostic tests, and develops individualized treatment plans.

Prescribes medications and therapies within scope, educates patients on disease management, and collaborates with the healthcare team.

Maintains accurate documentation and adheres to clinical and legal standards.

Qualifications include a Master’s in Nursing, an active Texas Nurse Practitioner license, national certification, and at least one year of NP experience, preferably in gastroenterology.

The role requires two 8-hour on-site days per week, with potential for additional shifts, and involves physical activity in a clinical setting.
