PT GI Nurse Practitioner

The Part-Time Nurse Practitioner in Gastroenterology provides patient-centered care under physician supervision at a clinic in Lubbock, TX.

Perform assessments, diagnose, and manage gastrointestinal and liver conditions such as GERD, IBS, IBD, and liver disease.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and educate patients on disease management and lifestyle modifications.

Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulations.

Participate in staff meetings, training, and quality initiatives, adhering to clinical and legal standards.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Nursing, current Texas NP license, national certification, and at least one year of NP experience, preferably in gastroenterology. The role involves working two days per week onsite, with potential for additional shifts. Physical requirements include standing, walking, and assisting patients. The position requires relocating to Farwell, TX prior to starting.
