PT GI Nurse Practitioner

The Part-Time Nurse Practitioner in Gastroenterology provides comprehensive patient care under physician supervision in a clinical setting.

Perform assessments, diagnose, and manage gastrointestinal and liver conditions such as GERD, IBS, IBD, and liver disease.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications, and educate patients on disease management and lifestyle modifications.

Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care and maintain accurate documentation per regulatory standards.

Participate in staff meetings and quality improvement initiatives, adhering to clinical and ethical standards.

Qualifications: Master’s degree in Nursing, current Texas NP license, national certification, and at least one year of NP experience, preferably in gastroenterology or internal medicine.

Schedule: Two days per week (8 hours each), with potential for additional shifts. Must work on-site in person.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, lift patients, and work in a clinical environment.

Additional: Must be able to relocate to Farwell, TX before starting.
