The Speech Pathologist evaluates and treats patients with hearing, speech, language, and swallowing issues based on medical diagnoses and physician orders, adhering to accepted standards of practice.
They apply growth and developmental principles across pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations, working collaboratively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and staff to promote teamwork.
Minimum qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology, a Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) from ASHA, and a valid state license or ongoing CFY. BLS certification from the American Heart Association is also required.
Preferred experience includes at least six months of related training or work. The role emphasizes providing compassionate care aligned with organizational values to foster hope, health, and healing for all customers.
