The Speech Pathologist evaluates and treats patients with hearing, speech, language, and swallowing issues based on medical diagnoses and physician orders, following established standards of practice.
They apply growth and development principles to serve pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, working collaboratively with diverse individuals including patients, physicians, and staff.
Responsibilities include providing patient-centered care that promotes hope, health, and healing, aligned with organizational values.
Qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology, a CCC from ASHA, and a state license or active CFY status. BLS certification is also required.
Preferred experience is at least six months related training or work. The role emphasizes teamwork, professionalism, and adherence to organizational values.
